Step 1
Each blade is made from a single block of high carbon, stain resistant, surgical steel alloy consisting of exact proportions of carbon, chromium, molybdenum and vanadium.

Step 2
The 22-step process starts with hot drop forging at temperatures exceeding 1800°F. Red-hot steel and a 2-ton forging hammer start the initial shaping of the blade. No stamping, no welding, no short cuts, fully forged from a single piece.

Step 3
The process continues by heating and cooling each piece to exact standards resulting in exceptional hardness.

Step 4
After many steps the classic Nutri Tech shape is formed. Then the final tempering brings the blade to the perfect Rockwell hardness.

Step 5
Each piece is polished to a finely ground surface to create a rust and corrosion resistant blade.

Step 6
Now the edge is precision grounded, tapered and then laser tested to insure a cutting edge that is unrivalled by mass produced knives.

Step 7
The blade, designed with the double V connection is permanently imbedded in polyprophelene, forming the Cari Grip™ handle. This seamless material is virtually indestructible, high impact resistant and unaffected by moisture or food acids. The blade and handle are tested under 1,000 pounds of pressure to insure they will never come off.
